Young Initiative Group (YIG) is newly born initiative, founded in 2010, where many active volunteers and leaders in the community gathered to do good under one umbrella. The group aims to make a positive change in the community.
We encourage everyone to join our group and contribute in any way possible. We believe it’s in every one of us the ability to make a change. The members of YIG were active in so many ways. They worked on diverse projects such as Iftar Sayem (distributing over 2,000 meals daily to hungry people), water & juice distribution during the unbearable summer heat, essential home appliances distributions to the unfortunate families in Jeddah, teaching children in orphanages, being financially responsible for medical cases, renovating people’s houses, cleaning the streets of Jeddah, autism & diabetes awareness, flood victim relief efforts and much more.
Board Meetings are open to anyone and everyone with the will and passion to join and work for the happiness of those in need.
The purpose of the Coordination Committee is to simply coordinate the activities of YIG but all volunteers are more than welcome to hop on board.
All discussions take the form of a Round Table Discussion where everyone has equal say and every opinion is equal to the other, just like we did in Dar Al-Hadana and Iftar Sayim.
The Coordination Committee is by no means meant to limit, omit or hinder any ideas or opinions, but rather, it services and supports the activities of YIG and its volunteer members in order to have a more efficient planning and execution.
Mission:
